Is there any way of correcting the wrong coloured flags when using D3D. I have a voodoo 5 5500 agp. Hope someone can help Kev Barnes
Sorry to pick on you Kevin because lots of people do this, but it would help to know which game you are talking about. N4? GPL? FICS? MBTR? etc. More details on exactly what flags and colours you mean wouldn't hurt either. "Kevin Barnes" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:xqOv6.32976$[email hidden]...

Well, it is a well known fact that the D3D patch for GPL has this effect. The best solution with a Voodoo5 is to use Glide. He has to sacrifice the hi-res dashboards though, or use split versions. Rob Adams wrote:

Probably GPL, since i have the same problem. Yellow gets green, Blue gets white, when waved it changes color every other frame. Very annoying. I never had any problems with the wrong colored flags..if someone was waving one at me..I pretty much could figure out what it was for...especially if I had an impatient AI car filling my mirrors... dave henrie "Lister Storm" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:99ojju$j41$[email hidden]...

Why on earth would he want to use D3D anyway when he has a 3dfx card??? Marc. "Stefan Magnusson" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

Damn right. D3D is a slug compared to Glide. -- ------------------------------------- Morgan Vincent Wooten http://home.earthlink.net/~morganv00/ ------------------------------------- "Marc Collins" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:RPRv6.541358$[email hidden]... > Why on earth would he want to use D3D anyway when he has a 3dfx card??? > > Marc. > > "Stefan Magnusson" <[email hidden]> wrote in message > news:[email hidden]... > > Well, it is a well known fact that the D3D patch for GPL has this > > effect. It's GPL - I have exactly the same problem. "Steve Garrotto" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

Sorry, I should have been more specific, which sim is giving Andy Straw better OpenGL performance in comparison to D3D? SLG "Neil Raine" <[email hidden]> wrote:

GPL ... way better than D3d but I have had some video lockups recently and I'm not sure if it's down to the OpenGL patch. I am going to revert to D3d after crashing out of a league race on Wednesday night but I do wonder if anyone else has experienced same problem. 1.2GHz Athlon/KT7A-Raid.
