Hi fellows, today I had my first on-line race! I never could pass my firewall for GPL in VROC, but the system of N4 seems to be more "firewall friendly"... Well, actually I took part to two races in Daytona: the first one wasn't good, somebody wanted to drive on my car, I went to the pits and recovered, but perhaps the host did not do well, because the whole event stopped after some more laps. But the second race was very nice! The host was in GB, I guess. It was a 50 lap race! I did not check that in advance... Well I guess I was the slowest driver, but I could mainly stay out of trouble. Little by little manu others had accidents etc. Also I had to go to the pits too many times: once I just braked too hard and one wheel was gone, a couple of times I took part to some accident, too, and had to be towed to the pits... But as far as I understand, they were "racing accidents". Anyhow at the end I was 6th. And I am proud of that! I really finished my first real on-line race. A big race, I have never driven a 50 laps race in any track! Not AI, not "real"... :-) Arto
