Hi Richard, in most sims (esp. older) you shouldn't see all that much difference between resolutions unless you go very high up. Most sims aren't fill rate limited, and so the fill rate isn't important. I am using the 7.something Hercules drivers that were released a few days ago (go to http://www.hercules.com ), and I don't have any problems. I tend to stick with original Hercules drivers as they seem to perform well and, most importantly, they seem to be tested well as I have absolutely no compatibility issues with them. -Gregor Richard S Beckett wrote:

I agree with Gregor. I'm using Hercules 7.52's in Win98 and the 7.78 ones in Win2k. so far they are the most compatible ones although 6.50's are the fastest you can't tell the difference except by benchmarking. One thing though is that with the 7.58 Win2k drivers FSAA causes the mirrors to not function in GPL but they're fine without it on. The 7.52's work fine in Win98 with FSAA on in GPL. -- Some Call Me Tim
