Dear All,
I've a problem with GPL. I want to upgrade the game to
version 1.2 but the UK patch (which appears to install)
makes the game ask for the CD, even when run using the
autorun on the CD. I've tried the US patch but it sais I
have the wrong version so I assume it's the UK version.
It's the �9.99 budget version.

This has come up here before, and if I remember correctly there is a special
version of the uk 1.2 patch on the CD with the budget version, since the
budget version is slightly different from the original retail release
(although I don't know how it is different).

Same problem for me. The solution was to get the NOCD patch from game
copyworld or something like
that.
