Just looked at the date. 9th of April. 3 years ago the GPL demo was
released. I had a P133 at the time with a voodoo video card, ran Nascar2
like a dream but GPL saw it scrapped within a week.
3 years down the track I have had 2 computer upgrade and GPL is still in
the number 1 position on my hard drive.
Not 100% sure but isnt today the anniversary of Jim Clarks death. If so
remember him too.
Todd.

So the demo was released on the date Clark died at Hockenheim? (except
30 years later ofcourse). Anybody know this for sure?

Yes, it was. And I always felt it wasn't by coincidence either.

To be precise: Clark died on April 7, the GPL demo was available on April 6,
30 years later.
