GPL Help

I've just installed GPL after quite a break from it. But I can't seem to get Nurburgring to load...all the other tracks work fine. I'm running win2k and have installed the usual patches (D3d, v1.2 etc) anyone had this problem? how can it be fixed? thanks

Have you installed any add-on cockpits, wheels, etc? Try un-installing, then try again. G'Day, A tip for next time........Always make a backup.......you can have several versions on your H/D.......just re-name the GPL Dir.......My GPL Dir is over 629mb........I use WinRAR v2.8: a trial version is available here: http://www.rarsoft.com/ which makes several smaller files.......then Burn it........easy! this method also cures the Read Only file problem most get. I'm having some problems with GPL and I plan to reinstall it. What files do I need to backup to keep my records, settings etc? thx

A very good idea I might add - I backup my GPL map every month (1.8 gig now) because at least a couple of times a week I install new GPL updates.. Andre
