what system spec do you need if you want to run ff on cmr2 ive got a pIII800
@982 768mb pc133 Geforce ddr..... and when you enable ff the game turns into
a slide show......is it me needing an OS rebuild or does it have v.poor ff
implementation?
oz.
The FF in CMR2 is indeed nothing special, but it shouldn't slow your game
down like that. Sounds like some kind of driver incompatibility to me...
Pretty smooth here: PIII-650 @866 256Mb pc133 V3 PCI LWFF v3.62 drivers.

Well my computer died last night... so i'll find out when I rebuild
it....... 2 years with the same OS ...about 4 different graphic cards and 3
different mobos.....
and god knows how many little patches and stuff to really screw up the
registry>>>>

once a year and re-install windows. I have 'most' of my important programs
on
another partition and a good set of drivers also...so the wipeout isn't that
hurtful.
But formatting and restarting windows fresh will often lead to improved
system
perfomance.

Yep, but a deltree c:\windows is enough, no need to delete the whole
c:\ drive :)

I think CMR2 likes ATi Radeon cards... I have
PIII933/384MBPC133/Radeon32DDR/LWFF
There is a slight performance hit with FF but not much.
Dale.
but if you see my start menu you will laugh at the size of it..... I mean
its got its own time zone!!!!
Ill just make sure ive got all my save games...
d/l all the latest drivers And start again.... on a spare Scsi3
drive....that should do it!
