Well I just reinstalled this old classic, what fun!!! I am pretty good at it too. I was wondering what upgrades have been made? I have dled the patch a 2000 carset and a converter for nascar 1 tracks. Is there a way to get nascar 3 tracks? Like texas? Thanks.

I searched the web the other day for ICR2 related sites and had trouble finding any? Is anyone still playing this game and/or maintaining active we pages? Also, what is the status of the game with repect to the "Rendition" tracks and current video cards? I still have my Rendition 1000 card but really don't wan't to put it back into my machine just to get the "pretty" versions of the tracks. Have these "pretty" versions been made to work with other cards under win9x. I always thought that this game was really good. The cars seemed to drive more realistically than their Nascar counter- parts. I still like the graphics too. Kent
Kent...that is really strange, because i also found a CD last week, installed it,just to have a look and within 2 hours was hooked. It was Indycar 2.... So i got straight on the Net and typed in "ICR2" and loads of sites came up,some were there but not updated anymore...but loads were still fine, allowing many many files to be d/l and pages to be read.I think i d/l about 18 (utilities,carsets,replays,set-ups) So...reply if you want them,i made a new folder in My Faves called ICR2 and they reside happily. It is a great sim, only wish i'd ran it then...in '95. Morgan Boof
Yes, please send me some of what you consider to be the better sites you found. I did find some sites in my search but I found that usually the link was broken or the site had fallen into gross disrepair. TIA, Kent [email hidden] Morgan Boof wrote:

(time to do a little self-promotion!! Hehehehe) My website, Sim Racing Crashes, has a few ICR2 upgrades, including thicker and whiter tire smoke, new dust, new engine and crash sounds, and updated graphics for Road America (the link may be dead now, I don't know. But that won't matter--I'm continuing to do more to the track). You can download these from here: http://simcrash.cjb.com Have fun with ICR2! ----------------------------------------- Dan Belcher Team Racing Unlimited http://simcrash.00game.com
