Help. My friend can't connect through his Microsoft Proxy server (his
father's actually....big time MCSE...won't get a simple router .... must run
proxy..)
So. Does anyone have any idea about this type of cinfiguration? All ports
are open, but he still gets a time out when trying to connect to my server.
Other people have been able to connect, so the problem seems to be with the
proxy configuration. We have not tried hosting on his system, as he can't
even connect at this time.

I run Proxy Server and had trouble with some software not working through it
until I turned on Basic Authentication (this is normally off).
