I have the following system: PIII 866, 256 meg of RAM (PC 133) Sound Blaster Live ASUS V7700 64 meg GeForce 2 Via Appollo mobo cable modem I race on a server not very far from where I am and always get excellent ping to it. In the "entries" screen, it's usually in the following ranges: ping 60-100 ms; quality 98-100%. In car, the little connection graph doesn't fluctuate much. When I race online (we usually have 20 cars), none of the cars around me warp. They are all rock solid. My fps range from 48-60; number of cars ahead = 22, behind = 6. The problem is: my car flashes horribly most of the time on the other drivers' pc. I simply can't understand this, given the fact that my connection seems to be stable and none of the cars flashes on my side. Suggestions? I even tweaked my registry recently (using settings found at www.speedguid.net). But it's getting frustrating. -- Philippe "Philster" Sergerie
