Le Mans Heat

Can anyone tell me what Le Mans heat is. I keep seeing it mentioned but i am not aware of this game. Thanks Kev Barnes

Le Mans Heat is a patch for Nascar Heat (similar to CART Heat and IRL Heat and DTR Heat)that changes the car shapes and sounds to mimic the LMP, GTS, and GT cars that run at Le Mans. There are the Audi R8's, & atleast one other LMP car, a Viper, some Vettes and Porches's . It is still in a very early stage...it often refuses to load due to memory issues, but they are working on that. http://19dodge.hypermart.net/ that is the url for the patch, but last time I looked...(5 seconds ago) it was not putting anything up except for a banner add. Well Nascar Heat is another Stock Car title. It came out in the Summer of 2000 and was the first of the modern sims based on advanced physics handling. It does not have quite the sophisticated model that N4 has, but is a big step up. NH was built by a spinoff group(Monster Games Inc <MGI>) that left Papyrus about 3 or 4 years ago. Their first title was Viper Racing. Nascar Heat has a different focus than the Papyrus Nascar Sims. They have included about 20 'canned' situations....called Beat the Heat. for example, your in 4th with 3 laps to go...can you get on the podium before the race ends. And another section that features ghost car laps driven with Heat by REAL Winston Cup racers.
