I can't understand why the save game feature is still not here. Is the code that complicated to prevent this? I have way too many distractions to dedicate a %100 race. I am asking if there is any hope of the save patch? If not I will go back to N3 and pack up the N4. Gee we need a FAQ so that people stop asking the same question 5times per week. No offense, but not having a save game would make you pack it up? I personally have a blast running 40% races. While Papy has never stated the reasons why they did not include this in N4, I would imagine they are pretty good ones and not just an oversight. What's real interesting is I have seen no where near the public outcry over this that we saw when N2 was released, and Papy did a patch that included it. Kind of the squeaky wheel gets the grease syndrome. -- Don Burnette D Burnette in N4 Some people do nothing wrong. The problem is, they do nothing. And THAT is wrong. I too have often wondered....now why isn't there a save game feature...does anybody know???? <VBG> da ve henrie

It's the simple answer that is the truth ;) Now for *why* they did not implement it, is a totally difference question :) Time, money, development philosophy, limitations, those are the principal reasons. -- -- Franois Mnard <ymenard> -- May the Downforce be with you... -- http://www.ymenard.com/ -- This announcement is brought to you by the Shimato Dominguez Corporation - helping America into the New World...

;) Buy why? Really, someone must know? Please advise why. ;)
Because there is no save game feature in real racing. Nascar Racing 4 was designed and built with the most realistic experience possible in mind. "Tim Miser" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:F35N6.25215$[email hidden]...

Yeah, but there isn't a pause button, a shift-R key, and a host of other features in real racing, as well. Lack of a save game feature isn't a show stopper in a sim, but I would certainly would prefer to have that option. Dave Ewing -- ***************************************************** David A. So is their a no damage setting, antilock brakes, traction control, and opponent strength slider in real racing?

You better pack it up then because there will never be a save race feature. Too bad though, you'll be missing a great game. Vintook "Mack" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...
