Which amd tbird 1.2 ddr or normal mem? which geforce video card. Bang for Bucks!
If you read the reviews, the basic consensus is that the Athlon DDR motherboards are not quite there yet... and DDR mem is still expensive relative to the little (or sometimes no) performance increase. In a few months DDR will probably be what to buy, right now, think about getting a KT133A based Motherboard, it supports 266MHz FSB Athlons while still using inexpensive SDR, the performance is very near DDR. Asus A7V133 or Abit KT7A, I guess. GeForce: get the best you can afford! They are basically priced based on performance and features, so it's up to you. GeForce 3 might be avoided for now... again, in a few months, probably the 3 will be the one to get. "Andrew East" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:TcOO6.72914$[email hidden]...
