I installed that huge mega-add on featuring the 150+ cars and stuff, and now (running the Trans AM league) I can't seem to get a foot on the ground: the AI drivers just behave like idiots, sticking to their line like they were driving tanks. It makes absolutely no sense to try to outbrake the AI as they just slam the door no matter I'm next to them or not. The AI drivers simply don't give an inch of room, as if I wasn't there. As I don't remember this from earlier a) does it have to do with the add-on? b) is there a patch to correct this? The way it is right now it's simply unplayable. Another thing that keeps me wondering: the AI seems to have much more grip at starts - I always loose up to 5 positions no matter how much care I put into accelerating and shifting properly. Any help is much apprechiated... -- +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ MeatWater Good Sound. Great Game! This ai behaivior was also apparent in the first release of F12k. I beleive there was a partial fix...although I can't remember what it was...basically the cars would shift from side to side to quickly while searching for a proper passing line. This occilation would quickly overwhelm the AI's stability and mass wrecks would ensue. Try Bathurst with the Touring car patch..you'll be zooming down the back straight, and if there is a back marker anywhere nearby you won't have to attempt a pass of any car in front of you...they will weave themselves off the road. I think modifying the ai files was attempted but I can't for the life of me remember what the final result was. Try one of the SCGT forums at Speedsims.com or Blackhole to see if anybody has any solutions. dave henrie "MeatWater" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:9etrja$1583r$[email hidden]... > I installed that huge mega-add on featuring the 150+ cars and stuff, andnow > (running the Trans AM league) I can't seem to get a foot on the ground:the
