Hi, been playing the demo for a few days now and i think i'll get the full game a few questions though.... Can i set split axis in the full game? The demo only seems to let you set the throttle, not the brake (releasing the throttle becomes the brake...) Does the game have FF, nothing on my LWFF right now... Sudesh

No, SUCKS! I deleted this game after 5 minutes, total piece of rubbish imho. Andre >Dunno, don't haven a FF device. > >Jan
Actually, this game, while being a little capricious to set up (picky on graphic driver, steering wheel has to be controller one), is the best fun I had since Screamer 2 and Screamer Rally. This is a genuine Arcade Game with an outstanding gameplay. Forget all that rubbish about "realism" which only makes a game bloody boring. This one is fast and unforgiving. Opponents cars will give you the ride of your life. They are mean and though and won't hesitate to throw you in the ditch at the first occasion. The tracks are fun and diversified, some of them will fast become your favorites but other will be a total nightmare even after many tries (Yeah!! Grim Up North is a killer!!) I tried'em all, from GP3, Grand Prix Legends, Monaco RS, Rally Championship 2000, Colin McRae 2 and undeniably, these are awesome games in their own right. But for pure instant fun, eracer is right there on top with these titles. Congrats for a job very well done Rage. We need more game that actually PLAY LIKE GAMES instead of being soporific 64-zilliabit Z-texel graphic showrooms for hardware reviewers that don't play games!!! BTW, graphics also also very good on eracer Go out, buy it, tweak it, and have an amazing time!! Guillaume Carrier In article <[email hidden]>, [email hidden] says...

I'm running WinMe, DX8.0a, Athlon 1Ghz, Hercules Geforce II GTS 64MB, MS FF wheel. I've tried Hercs. 5.xx, 6.xx, & 12.40 drivers and Nvidias 12.41 (plus a whole heap of other things I won't bore you with!). I really want to get online with this game, but if I can't get it working, it will have to go back to the shop this week :-( I would be really grateful if you can give me any tips on what to try to get this thing working. Like you I'm a driving nut, and I don't have any problems running Colin McRae 2, Carmageddon 2000 etc etc on my setup. Thanks and regards, Chris.
Really surprises me that you have having any problems, we are almost identical in setups. I am running a 1.3ghz Athlon, WinME, Geforce2 Pro 64meg and I am using the newest Det drivers. I have not had a problem yet with this game.. have you upgraded to the newest patch? Hi Cliff, thanks for the reply. Yes, I've tried the patch (1.17 I think?). I've even tried that naughty (?!) 'no-cd' patch. The only thing I think I'm going to try is to remove my usb adsl modem, which has in the past knocked out my other usb kit (my MS steering wheel is usb). Of course, this totally defeats the object of me buying the game to play online! It also doesn't explain why CM2 & Carmageddon 2000 work with the adsl modem plugged in, or even why eracer should try and connect when I'm playing in aracde mode (if indeed it is). Questions, questions, hopefully I'll find some answers when I get home from work. Thanks & regards, Chris.
