Okay I'm really starting to get frustrated with this game. I have the
latest 4.1.1.0.0 patch, and the AI is still incredibly stupid. If you
download the replay at the link below you will see a good example of
what I am talking about. In this replay I am in the #139 car. I pass
the #2 car on the inside just prior to the turn. I am clearly next to
him going through the turn. Nevertheless he ignores me and drops down
into his normal line, bumping me off the track. If this only happened
once or twice I might not have cared, but this typically happens several
times in every race! In every race I have tried so far, I have spent
more than half the race under yellow flags. About half of this is due
to my crappy driving, but the other half is due to the AI. I have been
watching the replays every time, and I swear they literally cause half
of the accidents! I have also tried increasing the AI level (the
example was at 70%) but this doesn't seem to prevent the problem.
Papyrus, if you're listening, the AI still needs work!
