I saw a few ppl with this problem so i thought i would post this because
this worked for me.
I just upgraded my video card and put a new G force card in my computer and
since then have been getting kicked out of lan races and online races back
to the desktop. I had changed nothing from my previous GPL install but since
i got the card i would get kicked back to the desktop.
I set up 4 other computers on a lan all with similar specs and the same
thing happened to them also.
Never had this problem with Voodoo 3.
I was told that what might be the culprit is having the old Glacier track
and not updating it to the version 1.2. For some reason the old version can
have a conflict with D3D and this might affect the game even when at another
track. I dont understand how it can affect GPL while racing on other tracks
and kick me back to desktop but for some reason it works now.
I guess i will just put it all down as an X File. ( Wacky pun intended. )
