Changing the starting gas load in N4?? (Eric read this I think it would make a nice addition to online play)

I am trying to figure out a way to patch N4 so that you can control the starting fuel load in N4 (granted I haven't put a whole lot of time into it yet). Basically I think it would be cool if the server could control the starting fuel load of all the clients. This way you could run short races and still have pit stop strategy involved. Say you run a 30 laps race at Rockingham, but the server sets the starting fuel load to only be enough for 20 laps. Does anyone else have any interests in this or should I nix the plan to figure it out??
