Ive downloaded a couple gpl cockpits and the instructions are as follows: To use, simply copy the file you wish to use into your \sierra\gpl\cars\cars67\ferrari folder. Once in the directory, rename the existing fdash.mip to fdash.gplea, then rename our file to fdash.mip. To return to the (excellent) GPLEA dash, simply rename our file to fdash.gplsf and change fdash.gplea to fdash.mip. Sounds easy enough but i only have a ferrari.dat in that directory and moving that and putting the mip files in there crashes gpl when i enter the car. Any body know what im supposed to do??? BTW what are sound graphics updates for gpl that you reccomend???? Any urls would be appreaciated thanks
keep the ferrari.dat, that should do it. You need to install the GPLEA Ferrari first. http://www.gplea.org/ Rob. Doodat will also allow you to extract , remove and add files from and to the dat files so you can extract the fdash.mip and change it . Get Doodat at http://www.deviant.btinternet.co.uk/ Cheers Andrew

KEEP the ferrari.dat. Don't touch it. Simplest thing to do though is go here http://jfcarsets.cjb.net There's one big file that has all the cars, cockpits, chrome roll bars, 2D and 3D wheels. Much simpler. Kev
