GPL: Making a backup

My copy of GPL, after 3 years, has seen better days. It barely plays anymore, covered in scratches. I wrote to Sierra, asking about a replacement, but they charge $10 plus postage (both ways) to replace. Can someone tell me how to make a backup copy onto a new CD, please? Just copy your entire GPL folder onto CD as a data backup. You can then reinstall it by copying the folder back again and creating a shortcut to the program. You will also need to get hold of the No-CD patch for GPL so that you don't have to keep on inserting the CD every time. If you are going to make a CD backup of the GPL folder, a good tip is to zip it first then put the zip onto CD.
