Wow, I've been away for awhile (playing everquest, no it's not a racing
sim). I checked this news group and it's still full of GPL topics. I'm kind
of shocked. I thought N4 would have taken over by now. I guess you can check
the topics to see that there are still no really good sims except GPL at the
moment.

You managed to catch RAS in a WSC lull.
Of course -- no screenshots lately :-)

That's still quite a false statement. N4 is really a superior racing title
as good and even better then GPL for most of it, others on the market also
are not to be forgotten (MBTR, etc..)

It may be a better game, but like he said, it hasn't taken over yet. As
long as people enjoy driving light cars on road courses then GPL will stay
alive.

N4's great and all that, but...
1) The required specs are considerably higher;
2) It seems (I haven't experienced it 1st-hand) to have a nigher
percentage of idiots online;
3) The cars are heavy;
4) Right turns?;
5) Hardly anyone outside America cared in the slightest about NASCAR;
6) There's no Le Mans for N4...

Yea Franois!! and the online racers are so courteous & friendly! NOT!
Sorry ymenard but the azzholes online are still worse each day! It seems
like all the 8yr/olds got N4 for graduating from 4th grade & they just do
not know how to race with others! Damn!!
I have never seen so many 'wreckers & wise-azzes' in my life as I have
encountered in N4's Sierra.com online racing!! This is a fact & not just
a subjective opinion either!!

Try to run only in the higher rated races, like a 4-10. I've been
concentrating on at least a 3 rating and it seems to filter out the 'Pinball
Boys' since their constant crashes keeps their ratings low.
