I have a "old" LWFF wheel using 3.62 drivers. I have noticed that at a few tracks (Sears Point,Watkins Glen and most recently Richmond) my wheel suddenly loses the force feedback after a short time. I have yet to try all tracks to make a complete analysis. I've tried reducing the amount of force feed back in the game from 100% down to 50 % at these particular tracks with no difference. This occurs usually after a good 40 mins or so and temporary cures itself when a pit stop is made or exiting the game and restarting. My cover on the wheel definetely gets a bit warmer..so I tend to think it's killing my wheel slowly? I have no problem with GPL or any other game doing this. Anyone else experienced this or have a possible solution please. Brief system specs. Win98 and updates DX8 12.41 Video drivers 366 cel @ 458 256 Sdram Gts 2 32mb leadtek s/b live not even sure if any of that is relevant. Cheers Stu C
try unchecking the centering spring or cut it back to 30% worked for me On Sun, 15 Jul 2001 13:46:48 +1200, "Stu_C" <[email hidden]> wrote:

Centering spring is unchecked and other settings are at 100%. Out of interest the same thing happened tonight to another user who also has the same wheel. We were racing at Texas. maybe this is just an intermitted bug in the game? <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

I have had my FF drop'out [sometimes rarely and others regularly] with SBK2000 & 2001 with my Guillemot FFB j/s. Has anyone run into this in SBK? Any help would be appreciated!!
