A month or two ago the Wests said (in the High Gear forums) they would have news "soon", but there has been no news. Maybe my definition of "soon" is different than theirs, I don't know. Most people are waiting for ECTS for the West's to make an announcement, but I don't believe that Empire has any floor space at the show. IMO, it's not looking good for WSC. If WSC does indeed ship, don't expect for another year. My best guess is Q4 2002/Q1 2003.

The rumor was debated on the High Gear WSC Forum and seemed to be settled as a joke that was started somewhere and admitted to as such, but that was not as interesting to some so on it goes. The Wests posted there that they were told to not release any more info by their publisher, Empire, until close to release. Guessing that the release date has changed would be based on little.

Yawn.....just waking up here. Oh....WSC? Well, whatever you do, don't believe anything Dave has to say. Hmmmm??? [--thinking]....."wonder if there's any coffee left in the pot? Hey, where's my tv remote....gotta see who won that girl's race in England today?"......hmmmm, yawwwwwn.....steee-retch! Tom PS: Wow, Mika "my man" won today.....cool......by 30 secs over "The Shu".....close one! [--thinking]...."Nobody believes me about WSC. Hmmm, wonder if I can do something to get my credibility back on r.a.s.? I wonder if I tell them about being invited into the McLaren garage two weeks ago (during testing at S-stone for the BPG), helping Nigel warm Mika's engine, holding his wheel while he prepped to get into the cockpit.......would that get my credibility back? It should?" Hey guys, two weeks ago I was in the McLaren garage, while Nigel warmed Mika's engine....and I held his wheel while he was getting ready to get into the race car. Cool, huh!

Well, no....he felt I was a little too large for his seat form. However, he did ask if I could give him a few "tips" on getting around Silverstone. I took him into the McLaren simulator and ran him through the paces a little bit. He said he felt "refreshed" and maybe had a good chance to win on Sunday. Guess I helped him some? Tom
