Can anyone tell me how to assign an F-key to a wheel button within the
software for this wheel. It seems to only assign functions "within games" to
a button. I'm lost!
You need to use the Wingman Profiler software to do that. Unfortunately
I don't have time right now to right a clear explanation of how to do
so, but it basically comes down to downloading or creating a profile for
the game that you want to run, and then mapping the wheel button to the
key that you want it to send. For example, in both N4 and SCGT I have a
button mapped to the Change View key, even though neither of those games
will let you remap that function within the game itself. If you still
need help, take a look at www.wingmanteam.com for further information.
Or just RTFM. ;o)
