Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone has information on how closely the Open Kart physics
model matches real-life karting? I'm hoping for the GPL of kart sims, myself
:).

I've only tried the demo -- Microids was going to provide the full
version so I could do a review for the High Gear site, but it hasn't
appeared yet, and I suspect it never will. The demo was unimpressive
and arcade-like IMO, but that may be because all you have to work with
is a chase view and a bumper cam view. According to Andre Warringa,
even the full version is still arcade-like, so maybe I'm not missing
out on anything.

That sounds disappointing. An English karting mag apparently gave it rave
reviews, so I had great hopes.
BTW, what happened to the Super1 Karting offline league website? I can't
seem to access it anymore.

had HIGH walls and the tracks were just one blind turn after another
Super 1 Karting is better but doesn't have shifter carts which would be fun
