updated gpxpatch 1.31 from the gpxlap page. http://www.xs4all.nl/~rsdi/gpxpatch.html 28 Jul 2001 1.31 Enabled playing GP3 over the internet (thanks to Cesar Mello for the tip). Small start with ATL (At The Line) for non-race sessions. --- anybody tried this yet? Regards all, istoff
Yes, it works, but it doesn't solve the problems related to playing GP3 over the net. Jan. =--- "istoff" wrote...

Yes. Can you say CHOP...CHOP.....CHOP....CHOP....CHOP........
Well, it's a promising start anyway, even if it has some problems. We'll see how she goes. Rafe Mc On Sun, 29 Jul 2001 10:30:06 +0200, istoff <[email hidden]> wrote:

I noticed that whilst surfing today, and was all set to download all the necessary (I haven't played GP3 for a while). Looks like it might not be worth the hassle then? Surely something like internet play can't be improved with an addon. The network play routines would have to be recoded for efficiency. Well, since there was no internet play before, it has certainly been "improved" with the addon. Problem is that GP3 is poor even on a LAN, but hopefully this is only due to it being forced to communicate at 56k max. Strange they don't allow 10mbit, given that their excuse was "internet isn't good enough" for not having this originally.
