Was trying out WinXP (RC2) and decided to see if I could get Colin McRae 2 working. To my surprise, the game worked and in any resolution (CMR2 in ME only worked in 640x480). Game ran well, somewhat faster than it did in ME. In XP there is that problem with 60mhz refresh rates in games, but that is easily overcome with a setting's change. Overall XP looks very nice. So far the games I've tried on it all run faster than they did in prior versions of Windows. Alanb
My friends AMD 1.33 would not run Motocrossmadness2 w/o the every 20th frame stutter while at 70 fps in both 98SE and ME, he changed to XP and it went away. N4 also runs better for me in XP than ME.
CMR2 works fine here with ME, all resolutions, same speed as 98.
