GP3 won't run on GeForce2 Ultra

Just got this card. Graphics calibrate OK, but no race. Screen just goes blank when the track should load. Had a similar problem with NASCAR 4 under Direct3D, but when I switched to open GL the game ran fine. I don't have that option with GP3. I have the latest detonator drivers installed and as far as Windows update is concerned, the latest Direct X8. Has anybody else heard of this issue or have any suggestions? -- Mike

Although the drivers on guru3d say they are 12.90 WHQL, in fact they are 12.40. Don't use them anyway, as you don't get the same control with WHQL, none of the nvidia tabs, including o/clocking. I'm using 1241 detonators.
