F1RC Unofficial AI Fix!

You can actualy make big diferences to the AI behavior with F1RC Master (the editor used for all the AI patches). If you chainge the agrsiveness value to 0 the AI won't try to pass you if you leave a slight gap normaly ending up with the running straight into you, if the AI are hitting you up the back with agresiveness at 0 you need to brake later (GPL AI do the same thing). There is also a value to slow down their starts a bit which makes things a bit better at the start. The main problem with the AI is that they are too slow through most corners especialy fast ones and acelarate too well out of corners so it makes them very dificult to race with on some tracks, but again GPL and most sims AI have the same problems. Actualy the main problem with F1RC's AI is the crappy internet play ;-) Alex "Iain Mackenzie" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:BBwf7.2470$[email hidden]... > Doesn't make the slightest difference as far as I can see. Nice way of avoiding the point of his post. Andre
GPL AI seem to drive at pretty much the same pace at each corner as I do, with the minor exception that I get out of most corners a little faster than them. They do have a tendancy to hit you in certain long braking zones though. I would say the F1RC AI needs more work than the GPL AI. Sorry Andre, not with you. I wasn't trying to avoid anything - just injecting a little humour!
