Hello group. I was going through my options in CM2 and the only thing I
couldn't change was my car detail. I seems as though it is terminally set to
low. The high detail setting is "blacked" out and not available to me. I am
running a P2 350 with 320 megs of ram. My video card is a Voodoo 3 2000 PCI.
I was told to set my display to 32 bit.......didn't work. Any ideas on how
to set my detail to high?? TIA

Hi Verne,
the reason for this is that the Voodoo 3 family of cards doesn't support
textures larger than 256x256. The high detail level enables larger
textures to be used, and I'm afraid this isn't possible with your card.
The same goes for 32 bit colors, which shouldn't be available either
(although the options might say it is).
