Hi folks,
gplrank will move this coming weekend, most likely on Friday. It will
be hosted from then on a Sun server kindly provided by Brian "blw"
Wong.
Although I've made every effort to make the transition as smooth as
possible, there might be some delays in DNS services to catch up and
what not.
Currently the new gplrank is accessible here:
http://newgplrank.schuerkamp.de:81
you can give it a try (remember it's an old database dump from last
week) and let me / us know of any problems you find.
The "official" URL
http://gplrank.schuerkamp.de/
will work by then, too, and we hope to switch back to the normal http
port 80 when some final issues have been resolved.
The new location will allow more people to collaborate on improving
GPLRank (which was not easily possible before as it was a corporately
held machine), so it would not surprise me at all if you saw those
long standing bugs fixed and new features added at a more regular
basis.
Thanks again to Brian Wong and everybody else who kindly offered
bandwith, webspace and not least of all, their personal time to keep
GPLRank running.
Uwe

Brian was my teammate in Cattywumpus Racing several years ago and a
fine fellow. Tell him Paul says hello and thanks for hosting your
site.
