Is it possible in GPL to race against the AI with you and them in
either of the trainers?

Yes. First open GPL and click on "Player Info".
Creat 2 new drivers, and call them a different name then your F1 name, such
as Tim YounameF2 and Tim YournameF3.
Close GPL. Then, open the "player.ini" of each of these two new drivers,
located at C:\SIERRA\gpl\players\, and for each newly created driver, change
the "driver rating" found under [ Personal Information ] from a 3 to a 2 for
your F2 driver, and from a 3 to a 1 for your F3 driver. I know it seems
silly to have a 3 for F1, and a 1 for F3 but thats the way it is :)
Save everything and have fun.

Sounds fun. I'm really having a problem with this whole no downforce
thing. I miss my wings from ICR2 or GP2.
But in the trainers...well, I actually find this game quite enjoyable.
I can keep in control, but still have fun on the track.
