Thanks to those who responded to my previous post, I now have all the latest cars and graphics and have been driving all weekend. A big thank you to the people who created them, I haven't played GPL in a year and the improvements are incredible. The cars are light years ahead of the things I was creating when the game came out. My next question is that there now seem to be dozens of tracks out there, could someone who has some experience of them give a list of 2 or 3 "must have" tracks (I'm not into ovals and would like something to fit in with the late 60's). Many thanks, JohnnyF
The Pants Ring is a very challenging race...;-) Rafe Mc On Mon, 17 Sep 2001 08:53:11 +0100, "Johnny Fiama" <johnnyfiama@*ReMoVE*hotmail.com> wrote:

I like the LeMans add-on. Great track. Driving through the Dunlop section is very fun because you can really slide it through. --- http://go.to/ra300z

Chris, looking forward to this new updated release. How far away is the track from being a full release? And what does Russell Ingall have to say about it??? Rafe Mc On Tue, 18 Sep 2001 14:03:02 +1000, "Chris_K" <"""[email hidden]> wrote:

I've spent many hours glued to the telly watching everything from XDs to VNs and Sierras to Godzillas going round that track. I'm itching to get the Lotus running around it myself. Is the beta public yet? Last time I looked it said it had nine levels of enryption or something Cheers Simon Haynes --- o Author of yBook (eText reader) and Freecharts SE (Stock Charting) Download FREE from http://www.spacejock.com o Author of 'Hal Spacejock' - ISBN 1-877034-00-2 (AUD$15.95) Order now from http://www.spacejock.com

A proper F1 track that has it all: very long straights and difficult esses, fast corners and hairpins, up and downs. Hasn't reached 'classic' status yet, but it should. Try it, it's marvellous.
