Greetings to All,
Does anyone know anything about EA's upcoming V8 Supercar Challenge. I
haven't seen any previews or anything else on the title except for a
reference to "Project Australia" by EA at Highgear, yet when I asked at the
EB store in Perth Western Australia they found it in their computer
scheduled for release on November 18. With the release so close I though
there would be some info about it somewhere.
Look forward to any comments.
Thanks,
Rob Hosie
It's a V8 touringcar sim developed on the basis of the STCC2 game by Digital
Illusions CE (http://www.dice.se). I'm very much looking forward to it.

Had a look at Digital Illusions web site and they make some reference to
Project Australia for EA Australia but no details yet. Do you have any info
on the tracks that might be included or anything else?
Thanks,
Rob

I only know what I offered before. STTC2 is a fairly realistic
sim of a real world series, so I assume "project Australia" will follow
along the same lines, but that's not a certainty.

There's been very little info about this sim so far. Bathurst is
definitely included (and a shame it isn't available today...) but
I did see a rolling video at Hardly Normal (I know, unrelated
equipment purchase to solve a problem) and it *appeared* to be
showing either Adelaide or the Canberra road course, they didn't
show enough to be absolute sure.
The physics looked very arcadey from what I saw, but we'll judge
them when we get behind the wheel.
Cheers,
Rod.

LOL!

Thanks for the input so far. Just wondering where you've seen any form of
demo?
