I got F1 2001 on Friday but have only been able to give it a run today. I have to say that my first impressions are extremely favourable, despite the lack of force feedback. My only queries so far are over launch and traction control. In the options screen there is an option for throttle assistance. I assume this is the equivalent of traction control. There are three settings, off, low and high. Does anyone know which setting is the equivalent to current F1 traction control rules? I can't find a this stated anywhere in the manual. Secondly, there doesn't seem to be a launch control setting. Does anyone know if this made it into the sim or whether this is encompassed within throttle assistance?
