Hello again..problems..I use three wheel regularly (TSW, Logi wingman, Act lab force rs). TSW and Logi work great but I really like my force rs. However..I have trouble getting it working with the software correctly. I prefer the serial port and this seems impossible to do. it gives me a conflict in device manager whenever I try to load it. Even through the USB it acts goofy. I tried the 123 drivers and then loaded the 2.1 pre June drivers. It does not seem to acknowledge the wheel connected into a serial port. I cleaned out all the drivers and want to start fresh. what is my best course of action? Thanks.. Dave C
If you are running in W2k, NT, or XP, the serial connection does not work. Serial only works in 98, and ME. That's my only guess... "David Ciemny" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:PTky7.897$[email hidden]...

I seem to recall a similar problem with my LWFF via the serial port (now use USB). I am sure that I got a utility from the wingman site which cleared out some settings. Sorry can't be more specific - it was a while ago :-) may be worth a look. Stewart tsrf900r <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:uUky7.19153$[email hidden]...

Hi Dave! :) All I have to help you with is that when I used the 2.1 drivers I got FF spikes in GPL so those drivers were no good for me. I used the 1.23 drivers and never had any problems with serial (My wheel is kinda old so it only has serial connection). So you like the RS? Please send over a short summary of you impressions comparing to the LWFF and the TSW. /Roger David Ciemny wrote:
