I have a HP 6645C and have been running NASCAR EA. It is 567mh celeron and I have 64mb and the standard 8mb video intel810 on board. I have instances running it when the frames on the screen will get too slow. I doesnt happen all the time, mostly on short tracks with lots of cars in front. Is this a NASCAR EA problem or my system. I am considering upgrading to 256mb memory and getting a geforce2 64mb PCI video card(no AGP slot). Will this upgrade help me run some of the new Nascar Sims? thanks in advance
That vid card is crushing you. ANY aftermarket vid card would benefit you at this point imo. Get the GF2 (do they make those in pci versions?), just remember, b4 your vid card was the bottle neck, now your processor will be. I am going to guess you'll get 100% better image quality, and 300% increase in frame rate ;) . Charlie "Matt Peeler" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

Also, the 566 celeron can o'clock a hell of a long way. If you can find a jumper on the mobo to set id to 100mhz FSB, you may be able to get 850mhz for free :) A cel 566@850 with GF2 would be a nice combo :P Rafe Mc On Wed, 17 Oct 2001 00:52:08 GMT, "Charlie Buscher" <[email hidden]> wrote:
