The latest(and I'm guessing final) N4 patch should be out Wednesday the 17th of October, according to the Sierra forums. Looks like F1Rc and F12001 patches will be fighting for second place. dave henrie

Hell, I might even install it & play it :) I kinda bought it thinking that there will probably be a converter to give me more tracks for GPL. Not that I like Ovals that much, mind you :) Regards all, istoff
This is the SECOND patch............. -John MadDAWG <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:3bcc840e$[email hidden]... > since N4 came out in Febuary I would say that gives F12k1 until junebefore > they are second to Papy. > > MadDAWG > >
Very early, maybe, but F12K1 hasn't passed that time period as of yet. I believe it might have been two months before N4 got its first patch. Alanb "Olav K. Then what's your concern over another's timing? -John MadDAWG <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]... > Sorry I forgot at that piss poor atempt to fix things with half assedfixes. > I have not played N4 since this so called patch. > > > MadDAWG > >
Well to spell it out for those of you who don't get it, here goes. I was defending F12001 more than slaming Papy and N4. I felt it unfair to say that Papy "won the patch race" when the game was just released. The thing that pisses me off is that games need patches at all for stuff that should be correct in the begining. And we all know Papy is the king of that. The problem with f12001 and the Nvidia 21.8x drivers is not a big deal to me because the game went gold before the drivers were released. This is IMO the only reason software should ever have a patch. Any and all racing sims should be able to simulate a yellow flag right out of the box, and not need many patches to get it some what sorta working. Or how about the start of the race when cars go flying thru the infield, or slowing you car down for a set period of time because you touched the wall as a fix for wall riding instead of just having a correct damage model, or................... well I'm sure you can see why I was far from impressed with Papy's first couple of attempts. Go into major software development, I'm pretty sure you would have a little bit more appreciation for what they do. -- Biz "Don't touch that please, your primitive intellect wouldn't understand alloys and compositions and,......things with molecular structures,....and the....." - Ash MadDAWG <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:3bcdd5d4$[email hidden]... > Sorry if I sounded a little harsh, its been a bad day here. > > MadDAWG > >
