As a person who has ran offline leagues using Papyrus products for the last 10 years, dating all the way back to Indy 500 The Simulation, I'd like to make a public acknowledgment to Papyrus for continuing offline league support. While the offline racing community has dwindled the past couple years due to increased online racing leagues, there are still a great number who enjoy this type of racing. Charlie Heath was a great proponent of offline leagues, and was instrumental in the validation routines included in N2/N3. When Charlie left, I thought offline support walked out the door with him. I had all but decided to shut the offline side of our site down for good at the end of this season. We have continued to use N3 for the 2001 season, because using N4 would have meant a huge step backwards in regard to the integrity of the results. But the latest patch may have breathed new life into the 2002 season. Tim Wortman North American Simulation Series www.nasscar.com
