I wonder if I'm the only one trying to get the "bonus car" using the racing
school (only got Monaco Jordan - USA GP for the moment) , but there is an
annoying problem.
If, while trying a sector, I stall on the track, SPACE and ESC won't work so
unless there's a slope to get out of track I'm stuck there (SPACE-ESC only
works while out of track). I then uses CTRL-ALT-DEL to get out :-(.
It's even worse while trying to do a Hotlap in the racing school because if
you can succeed to complete the required laps (like crashing with no wheel
left) I can't find any easy way out.
I could set back the Auto-Clutch and set it to no damage but I hope there is
another way out.

You need to press ESC first. This will pause the game -- it will say
"paused" on the top of the screen. Now press SPACE to retry or ESC to
exit. It may not tell you to press SPACE or ESC but as long as it's
paused -- those are the valid options.
Example:
ESC-ESC = Will exit the current training sesssion.
ESC-SPACE = Will restart the current training session.
Yes, I love doing the driver training courses -- it allows me to learn
the track faster because I don't crash all the time. The only bad part
is I can't get the fast sections into Gold status. For example, Japan
section 2 -- I'm out by 0.3 seconds and tried it over 130 times -- that
darn spoon curve is killing me I bet :) Hockenhiem, section 2, man I'm
out by over 1 second and I try to cut the curbs as much as I can --
although I don't usually drive like that ;)
