Hiya all, Well I've long been a fan of the old Nascar Racing 2 by Papyrus. I'm not such a fan of Nascar as such, but what I love about the game is that I can paint all the cars to look like my friends cars, police cars, tv cars, news cars etc, which may sound silly to some of you, in which case it's not you I'm asking :) I also really like the Need for Speed series, and play NFS4 more than any other game. What I'm wondering now is, is there a game, similar in playability to the old nascar, where I can paint the cars to look like my friends cars etc, and can race with a whole stack of other cars in a race? I looked at the demo for nascar racing 4, and not only didn't it mention being able to modify the cars like that, but you were stuck with the in-car view, which, while I don't mind it, I do like an outside view sometimes. So does anyone have any suggestions for a game which would suit my needs? Regards OgO -- My Freeware: http://qjc.cjb.net/freeware.html My Win9x Cursors: http://qjc.cjb.net/cursors.html Feel free to ICQ me. My ICQ #: 12889482 I left my Glasses in my email - you better take them out!

N4 is just like N2 that you are used to, only 100 times better. the demo just had all that stuff disabled -- Biz "Don't touch that please, your primitive intellect wouldn't understand alloys and compositions and,......things with molecular structures,....and the....." - Ash OgO <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]... > Hiya all, > > Well I've long been a fan of the old Nascar Racing 2 by Papyrus. > I'm not such a fan of Nascar as such, but what I love about the > game is that I can paint all the cars to look like my friends > cars, police cars, tv cars, news cars etc, which may sound silly > to some of you, in which case it's not you I'm asking :) > > I also really like the Need for Speed series, and play NFS4 more > than any other game. > > What I'm wondering now is, is there a game, similar in > playability to the old nascar, where I can paint the cars to > look like my friends cars etc, and can race with a whole stack > of other cars in a race? > > I looked at the demo for nascar racing 4, and not only didn't it > mention being able to modify the cars like that, but you were > stuck with the in-car view, which, while I don't mind it, I do > like an outside view sometimes. > > So does anyone have any suggestions for a game which would suit > my needs? > > Regards > > OgO > -- > My Freeware: http://qjc.cjb.net/freeware.html > My Win9x Cursors: http://qjc.cjb.net/cursors.html > Feel free to ICQ me. You want NASCAR Heat -- FAR better than N2/N3, and as expandable as NFS4. Check out this site for some info on NASCAR Heat add-ons: http://www.sim-editing.com/ Enjoy! -- JB On 8 Nov 2001 02:14:24 GMT, OgO <[email hidden]> wrote:

With N4 you are able to paint cars, use any view you want and yweak setup. Much inproved over N2,N3. -- Mike Grandy www.precision-racing.com "OgO" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]... In rec.autos.simulators, on 14 Nov 2001, Mike Grandy announced: > With N4 you are able to paint cars, use any view you want > and yweak setup. Much inproved over N2,N3. Great, I'll have another look at it - The info the demo gave on the extra features in the full thing wasn't that detailled... maybe I have an early demo and didn't yet know what was going to be in it....
