here's my specs:
dell xps-r pII 400
128megs Ram
Asus V7100Magic Geforce2 MX-200 32megs
I had a problem with GPL crashing as soon as I got in the cockpit. After
much research I ended up trying the 6.18 drivers. Now when I get in the
cockpit, the game seems to run fine, but the graphics give me jumble of
colors, flashes and all kinds of nasty stuff. It doesn't crash and I can get
back to the menus. I saw that someone had a similar problem and tried the
6.34 drivers. I did try does but the picture just froze.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
From the message I posted previously:
Usually that is a sign of the core overheating and causing it to
crash. Odd that you can run fine in openGL though.
Try disabling AGP 4x, altering you AGP aperature, etc. in the bios.
Also try different drivers (although you've tried a few.
Oh, and maybe try some extra cooling, like opening up your case.

Your new problem seems almost like when the RAM is overclocked and has
reached it's limit - I think you may have a faulty card. Try swapping
it with someone elses or any spares you may have (preferably nVIdia
based) and see how you go. Other possibility is to underclock it and
see if you still get these problems. NVMax is good for that stuff.
