And the rumour base grows... Wasn't it a French division of Sierra that was supposedly supporting it? Rafe Mc On Thu, 29 Nov 2001 22:31:00 GMT, "Hans" <[email hidden]> wrote:

For those whose French is even worse than mine, the site lists GPL 72 along with all the other Papy titles (rated) and links to Papy's web site and Sierra's site. Looks very official and they have lots of other non-Papy stuff listed. Says GPL 72 will be in stores in Sept '02. It also says WSC will be in stores in June '02. Well....since mr Cassidy is posting in a turbo related thread, I'll bet on 1982! Remco On 30 Nov 2001 10:43:55 GMT, [email hidden] (David Buttery) wrote:

You'll think I'm mad, but I think we'll see it before then ;-)

It seems a long way away, especially as a playable demo is conspicuous by its absence even from being discussed yet, but I suppose it's possible. After all, the first mention of Historic Rally Trophy (as it then was) on this NG was only 10 months ago. I've got fed up with cryptic comments and (virtual) sideways glances, though. I'm not taking any interest in WSC until something official and concrete is said. If it's here by Easter '02 it'll be a miracle. (A nice miracle, but still a miracle.) -- Sceptical scrutiny is the means, in both science and religion, by which deep insights can be winnowed from deep nonsense -- Carl Sagan The GPL Scrapyard returns (slowly): http://www.hillclimbfan.f2s.com
