WRC 2001 highlights video
Posters enjoyed a WRC highlights video, explained how to save it, and identified incidents such as Petter Solberg's burning Subaru. They discussed the season's serious accidents, including Tommi Mäkinen's co-driver Risto suffering a cracked vertebra in Corsica, and debated the Linkin Park soundtrack.

Very nice! How do you go about saving these files in Media Player? I'd
like to get a nice collection and make a VCD for my DVD player.
Thanks

I would think it is Petter Solberg's Subaru during the Cyprus Rally.

However, CMR2 won't let me get out of the car and kick it like Colin did in
the video... :^))

Who was in the car that fell off the cliff, and did they somehow survive?

cars use...I really enjoy hearing the (anti-lag?) popping as they get ready
to wind em up again. Next time lose the song and bring on the Turbo's.

Uh, oh - that didn't sound good. What happened to Makkinen's co-driver? Like
I said before, I don't follow rally races much...

Cracked a vertebrae when the pair went off in the rally of Corsica. Tommi
clipped the inside wall, smashed into the rockface on the other side. Car
ended up on it's roof, teetering on the edge of a cliff. Risto was airlifted
to hospital from the scene.
Stephane Prevot, co-driver to Bruno Thiry, suffered the same faith in the
Safari Rally when Bruno misheard a note about a large pothole and wrecked
their Skoda on it.

If I recall correctly, a crushed vertebrae and other injuries. It required
surgery, will probably give him back pain for a long time, but not fatal.
