Greeting Fellow Racers
My name is Mark Jeangerard. I am the director of GPVL F2, a division of a
small international online GPL league. For the next 5 weekends we are going
to have a little spec F1 competition and would like to invite anyone
interested to join us. The series will be scored, with results posted on the
web page and a champion named.
The GPVL Winter 2001 Mini Series will consist of 5 full length GPs. The spec
is FCMH which will allow any mix of Cooper/Maserati
Honda/Honda -so a CH, CM, HM, HH 4-horse race. You may drive any
chassis/engine combo you'd like, and change it for each event. The focus is
on finishing... so, if I may say so without offending, this series is not
for everyone. But if you like long battles against mature drivers, the kind
of racers you can drive nose to tail with for hours on end without having to
worry about when you're going to get hit, then we're the one's for you and
we'd like to see you on the next five Sundays. (And then some. :-) )
Races will be held on Sundays at 16:00 EST with pre-race meetings in a
designated VROC room at 15:30 EST. There will be 30 minute practice sessions
before each race (40 for the Ring) and all GPVL rules will apply. The
schedule is as follows:
Dec. 09 - Zandvoort
Dec. 16 - Rouen
Dec. 23 - Mexico
Dec. 30 - Nurburgring
Jan. 06 - Sears99
Please email me at the address below. At this time, I'm not able to get mail
at the address on the web page.
