I am not new to downloading cars, but I am stumped.
I got a car (#31 R Gordon Cingular car) and I can see it in opponent
manager, I can go to the paintshop with it etc, but I cannot get it to show
on the racetrack.. I have 20 cars in my roster, and 20 "entries"...why wont
the car show in the race? Am I missing something?

you did check the box for the car in your list right?

By the way I can use the car to race with...but it will not show as an AI
car...yes I have the number of AI set correctly too...maybe theres something
funky going on with the car file...thanks

Did you look in the NASCAR Racing 4\series\cup\cars directory and look at
your "Season".lst file in notepad. Where "Season" is the name of your
season file. Inside the file it will look like this.
+1_s_park.cup.car
+2_r_wallace.cup.car
+3_d_earnhardt.cup.car
+4_r_gordon.cup.car
+5_t_labonte.cup.car
+6v_m_martin.cup.car
+7_m_wallace.cup.car
+8_d_earnhardtjr.cup.car
This lists all the cars that will race in your particular season. To make
the car available as an AI car there has to be a + at the start of the
listing, followed by the file name of the car you want to add. If there is
a - at the beginning of your car entry, the car will not run as an AI car.
If you have more than 42 cars with +'s in front, some won't race......I
think the cars at the end of the list over 42. I hope this helped. Let us
know if this was the problem.
