HEAT-only 3 gears!

Running CTS Heat on AMD 950 (all 3 patches) 256 ram...gforce 2mx(?) with 64 meg. At Daytone and Taladega I only get 3 gears! I end up overheating and losing power. Rest of the tracks seem to be OK. (Cars get all 4 gears.) Anybody have any idea's or suggetions? "Doing my daily best to piss off the Left Wing Lunatic Fringe..."

Don't use Normal mode with the trucks
