Is this possible? I can get 1024 X 768 with 36 fps, looks fine except that when I get out of the car, half the screen is black (it's as if the whole screen was lowered down... I only get to see the top part of the screen in the bottom half of the monitor). The game crashes invariably sooner or later in D3D and software mode pretty much sucks. I have all the patches intalled. Here's my pc: P3 866 mHz 256 meg of ram (133) Sound Blaster Live Asus V7700 64 meg GeForce II with nVidia reference drivers (12.41?) Direct X 8.0a mobo with VIA Apollo chipset. Thanks in advance! -- Philippe "Philster" Sergerie
The half screen problem is a bug with the openGL drivers using anything higher than 640x480. Try the 6.18 drivers.. never had a problem with those... actually, they are the only ones that work on my system with d3d (which is quite slower than yours). Anyone had similar experiences?
