Hadnt played F12001 since about 4 hours after getting it. The GT Mod is superb - but DAMN The F1 2001 tracks are utterly ferkin USELESS. Half the time they feel like a badly put together Scalextric track - the rest of the time - they're just innacurate. Doug
Was playing it online tongiht :D http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~djelliso/f12001gt.jpg http://www.btinternet.com/~nitronuts/nitronuts/MOV00011.MPG Doug "Douglas Ellison" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:a1qlqv$sjt0q$[email hidden]...

I agree, it does look very cool. How's it run on lower-end systems? Mine's a PII-450 and GF2 GTS. Cheers Jim

Runs OKish on my rig, Cel450 and GF1DDR. I get 28-35 in-car with everything on @1024x768x32, 35-50 fps on nosecam. Not that great with five or six cars in view, though. Those addon GT cars seem to sap alot of CPU power(rather like GPL).

Are you sure you got F1 2001? There are three EA F1 titles and at our local CompUSA I have seen all three boxes in all three shelve spots. They don't know the difference up here. dave henrie "AlvinKlein" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...
