Sorry for all these posts, but I'm trying to get my sim installations
back "up to speed" after having to re-install them all.
I've installed F1 2001, the FF patch and the No-CD patch. The sim
starts up with no problem, and configures my controllers properly (an
LWFF on ID #1 and a TSW pedals on ID #3). However, when I hit the
track, my accelerator does not work properly. It works enough to leave
the pit, and the car continues down pit road, but when I reach the
actual track, the throttle doesn't work. In neutral, the car revs
properly, but as soon as I put it in gear, the car only moves about
20mph.
Is there somewhere in the sim where I have to calibrate the controller?
(I don't remember doing that before....) The controllers are properly
calibrated in Windows.
Any help would be appreciated.
Bert
Ummmm....I sure hope you aren't forgetting to release the pit lane speed
limiter.

Is that an automatic setting? I've never had that problem...

I think that the rev limiter was on by default, since I still had "Pit Lane
Assistance" set to on (or was it off? I can't remember....)

Then I must have misunderstood your first post. I thought you had the problem
even on the track. The pitlane limiter should have stopped then...

I DID have the problem on the track, but turning the pitlane limiter off solved
it. (Hitting 'L' on the keyboard). I still have Pit Lane Assistance on now, so
it's limited in the pits, but there's no longer any problem on the track.
